Punk/hardcore supergroup Angel Du$t are back with a new album Brand New Soul, out September 8 via Pop Wig Records

Led by Justice Tripp of Trapped Under Ice, Angel Du$t have been pushing the boundaries of hardcore and punk, daring to create more catchy and approachable content than the genre usually allows. "I always wanted to progress and push and try. That's the fun thing. Playing the mosh part that you know is gonna make people move over and over again in every song gets exhausting. But finding a new way to challenge people, that's the energy of music," Tripp said in an interview with Stereogum

Brand New Soul was recorded by Paul Mercer, mixed by Rob Schnapf and Steve Wright, and produced by Tripp himself.

Tripp said about the album in a press release: "This was the first time I've ever produced our music myself. I think what's important about that is the freedom to try anything you have in mind. Rock and roll is such a broad spectrum of music, but I think sometimes people will get really hyper-focused on certain tiny moments or niches and that's blasphemy to me. There are all these tools that come from rock and roll that we can use. I wanted to try and represent a lot of different angles. It feels like we're just totally off the leash."

To coincide with the album announcement, Angel Du$t have shared the energetic single "Space Jam." Listen to it below.

The band have also announced an extensive world tour with two Canadian stops in Montreal on November 5 and Toronto on November 7. Check out the full itinerary below.
