Electronic producer Andy Stott has been relatively quiet since the release of his 2012 epic Luxury Problems, but the artist hasn't slowed down any. Instead, he's revisited Millie & Andrea, a collaborative project with Demdike Stare's Miles Whittaker, to record their debut LP.
The duo previously dropped a handful of singles from 2008 to 2010 before shelving the project to focus on other work. Now, however, they'll release a full-length album called Drop the Vowels.
According to a press release, the record is "borne from a love of both pop and club music," and features a diverse batch of influences that include artists like Aphex Twin, Leila and Jai Paul, as well as genre references like rave and jungle. The album's closing song is entirely composed of field recordings.
Modern Love is set to release Drop the Vowels on March 31. The album's tracklisting is available below.
