The always hard-partying Andrew W.K. has been relatively quiet since the release of his epic double album, Close Calls With Brick Walls, but with good reason. It seems the well-spoken party animal has been preparing a new show for Adult Swim.

The show doesn't have a title or a release date but a pilot was filmed in New York with beloved electro wizard Dan Deacon and actor Andre Royo, who played Bubbles on The Wire. In an interview with Stereogum, W.K. said, "The show is about having fun, partying, rolling around, rolling over, piling up, skipping forth and ambling about... In addition to that movement, we also dance, strut, talk, ponder and probe deep into the questions about life and how to live it. During this pilot, we discussed puking and alcohol, standing tall, underdogs and how to have sex."

In other words, no matter what this show looks like, it's going to be some kind of wonderful. W.K. previously hosted the short-lived MTV2 show Your Friend, Andrew W.K. in 2004.
