Andrew Bird Unveils 'I Want to See Pulaski at Night' EP, Shares New Track

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 1, 2013

Last year was a busy one for indie folk whistler Andrew Bird, who released the LP Break It Yourself, plus the full-length companion piece Hands of Glory. And while Bird hasn't been quite so prolific in 2013, he won't be letting the year pass without a new release. On November 12, he will release I Want to See Pulaski at Night.

The EP includes seven songs, six of which are instrumental. The odd one out is the not quite title track "Pulaski at Night," which is a sparse number based around sparse baroque plucking, tender folk and faintly Asiatic strings. Hear that tune below.

A tracklist for I Want to See Pulaski at Night hasn't yet emerged, but that's the album cover above. The EP is currently available to pre-order on CD or vinyl from Bird's online store, where it's also part of a T-shirt bundle. Peruse your options here.
