It's been a fairly quite year for Illinois folksmith Andrew Bird, but the musician has grand plans to spread his whistle-happy songbook around the globe in 2016.
Bird has a residency at Chicago's 4th Presbyterian Church coming up next month, but he will spread his wings by 2016. First up for the new year, he'll head over to Europe. By late March, he'll be back on the North American tour circuit. Along the way, he'll hit clubs in Montreal and Toronto.
You'll find all of the itinerary details, including another run of European shows in May, down below.
While the press release confirms Bird is getting back on the road, it's as yet unclear if he has plans to follow up his 2014 full-length Things are Really Great Here, Sort Of in 2016.
