A few weeks back, organizers for Amnesia Rockfest (formerly known as the D-Tox Rockfest) announced Rancid would make their way to Montebello, QC, to play the annual event, and now the full lineup has been officially rolled out.
The fest has revealed that the headlining acts heading out to the Montebello marina on June 14 and 15 are punk acts Rise Against and the Offspring, while the fest is also bringing out veteran shock rockers Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson. Other marquee names for the event include punk crews Social Distortion, Dropkick Murphys and Pennywise, while you can lift your horns for Anthrax, Deftones and Lamb of God.
Also included on the bill, which totals over 150 acts playing on five stages, are Discharge, Bad Brains, Transplants, Killswitch Engage, Lagwagon, FLAG (the latest Black Flag incarnation), the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Millencolin, Agnostic Front, the Cro Mags, Screeching Weasel, Madball, 7 Seconds, Less than Jake, Biohazard, Sick of it All and more.
On the Canadian front, you've got appearances from Fucked Up, the reunited Groovy Aardvark, the original lineup of Comeback Kid, Cryptopsy, the Flatliners, Grimskunk, Mononc' Serge, Men O Steel, Obey the Brave and Skip the Foreplay.
On top of the band action, the press release notes there will also be "rides, a rock and roll museum, a haunted house, buskers and fire spitters" on the festival grounds.
The festival will kick off with a series of indoor shows from June 10 to 16 at the Montebello marina in the Outaouais region.
Limited pre-sale weekend passes are available now through the fest's Facebook page, while general ticket sales begin on Saturday (March 23). A weekend pass will run for $79 plus service charges.
