Amanita Bloom delivered their latest full-length Neither the Sea Nor the Land at the beginning of this year, and as 2014 comes to a close, the Montreal band have a brand new track to share.

Describing their sound as one that combines "punk upbringings, psychedelia, folk songwriting aesthetics and a longing for the youthful sadness of the early American bluesmen," the band explore a darker side on "Some Tragic Darling."

The song was recorded back in September, with work on the video just wrapping up. "Some Tragic Darling" tells a grisly murder tale, so it's not surprising that frontman Etienne Morin calls it the group's most "powerful and intense" work to date.

The clip itself delivers eerie, ghost-like black and white footage of the band's recording session that pairs well with the ominous tune and Exclaim.ca is pleased to provide you with the first look at it. Watch the video for "Some Tragic Darling" below.
