Toronto native Allan Rayman spoke to us about his latest LP Roadhouse 01 earlier this year, and he has now returned with a new video for the Jessie Reyez-assisted album cut "Repeat."
Directed by Gabriel Adelman, the clip stars Rayman, Reyez and a host of other characters engaging in some small-scale destruction; blowing out candles, deflating balloons and lighting vinyl records on fire.
"The video is meant to give a dark and abstract view of losing sanity while going through a breakup," Adelman said in a statement. "I think of it as one of Allan's bad dreams, where the things that still haunt him play ad nauseam in his subconscious (on repeat)."
Roadhouse 01 is out now through Communion/Universal. Rayman has also announced a headlining tour of North America and Europe set to begin this fall, and you can find dates for that here.
