The third full-length from the bipolar trio sounds like the lost result of an illicit affair between seminal pop-punks Jawbreaker and radio-friendly modern rock mainstays Eve 6. Guitarist Matt Skiba and bassist Dan Andriano alternate vocal and songwriting duties with two types of energised post-punk guitar pop from the heart that play off each other much like the way the varied songwriting of Grant Hart and Bob Mould kept Hüsker Dü interesting and unpredictable from one album to the next.
