Alice in Chains Detail 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here'

Alice in Chains' 2009 reunion album, Black Gives Way to Blue, was more than just a one-off, and the latest incarnation of the grunge vets have confirmed the details of their new LP. The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is out on May 14 via Virgin/EMI.

The disc was helmed by returning producer Nick Raskulinecz. Guitarist Jerry Cantrell told Rolling Stone of the new record, "There's some real filth in there. That's intentional, and that's also just how we sound together."

That's the album cover above and the tracklist below. As you'll notice, the tracklist includes the previously unveiled single "Hollow," the video for which is embedded at the bottom of this page.

The title apparently refers to the theory that the devil planted dinosaur bones on Earth to shake people's faith.
