Alex Ebert

Alexander

BY Alex HudsonPublished Feb 22, 2011

On March 1, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes frontman Alex Ebert will release his solo debut, fittingly titled Alexander. A solo record in the truest sense, the songwriter recorded the collection alone in his bedroom between breaks from touring with his band. It's a quirky, unpredictable listen, filled with psychedelic pop touches and oddball folk -- just what you would expect from the mastermind behind Edward Sharpe and Ima Robot.

Here at Exclaim!, we can offer a free stream of the entire album. Take a listen below, and go here to read up on the disc, which will come out via Collective Music.
