Former Makeout Videotape member Alex Calder surprised us with his excellent Strange Dreams LP back in May. Today, he's treated us to some more goodies with a new covers EP, simply called Covers.
The release opens with Calder's fuzzed-out take on the Breeders' "Invisible Man." Then, he breaks into a slow, soft-rock interpretation of Björk's "You've Been Flirting Again." Both covers offer excellent arrangements and high-quality recordings.
