The Unicorns' Alden Penner took a trip to the past to issue some 2004 demo tracks on his recently released EP JUNE 04. At the time, he hinted at a future collaboration with actor-turned-musician Michael Cera, and now their musical teamwork has surfaced online.
Clocking in at nine minutes, "Meditate" is a hazy, dream-inducing trip that is slated to appear on Penner's upcoming record. The new tune also features the vocal contributions of 12-year-old Felix Tymoshenko.
Cera was previously associated with fellow Unicorn Nick Thorburn on his Mister Heavenly project.
