After releasing live album Here, Tonight last year, Alan Doyle is going to be here (Toronto) tonight (August 10) at the Budweiser Stage this summer.
The Great Big Sea frontman and his Beautiful Beautiful Band will be joined for by Donovan Woods, Tim Baker, Fortunate Ones and host Tom Power for an evening of music under the stars and Newfoundland excellence.
"I can't think of a better way to celebrate 30 years in the music biz than headlining the biggest stage in the country, Bud Stage in Toronto," Doyle said in a press release. "I'll be there August 10 with my whole Beautiful Beautiful Band and some of my dearest friends from home and Honorary Newfoundlander Donovan Woods who's easily one of my favourite songwriters on the planet. Tim Baker, along with Catherine and Andrew of Fortunate Ones all have sets ready to go and the whole deal is hosted by Newfoundland's gift to Canada, Tom Power! What a Time."
Tickets go on sale Friday (March 10) at 10 a.m. local following various Ticketmaster presales, which begin tomorrow (March 7).
