Akron/Family Detail 'Sub Verses,' Play Toronto, Montreal on North American Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jan 23, 2013

Having closed out 2012 with a live album, the indie rocking freak folks of Akron/Family have officially announced the details of their latest full-length. Sub Verses is out on April 30 through Dead Oceans.

The album was produced by Randall Dunn and recorded in El Paso and Seattle. The cover artwork (above) was designed by Stephen O'Malley of Sunn O))). You can check out the tracklist below and scroll to the bottom of the page to hear "No-Room."

Head to Dead Oceans' website to read some rather abstract statements about the album from band members Seth Olinsky and Miles Seaton, plus Swans leader Michael Gira. Sub Verses will be available on CD, double-LP or as a digital download.

Scroll past the tracklist to see the itinerary for Akron/Family's spring tour. In addition to a slew of U.S. shows, this includes Canadian appearances in Toronto on April 19 and Montreal the day after.
