Dead Yuppies

BY Rob FerrazPublished Mar 1, 2002

New York's hardcore kings come stomping back with a new batch of tough guy tunes to pump your fist to. This is what you've come to expect from AF since their return to hardcore punk: the NYC sound complete with sing-along back-ups and songs railing against the establishment, delivered from a working class perspective. The trouble with this record is that they seem to be going through the motions on many of these songs. It's as if they came out of the hardcore-o-matic instead of from the heart. Although, a couple of tracks are sure to become mosh pit favourites with their catchy choruses, "Love To Be Hated" and "Liberty."
