Against Me!'s 'New Wave' Treated to New Vinyl Pressing

While Against Me! will be heard cranking off the classics on their upcoming 23 Live Sex Acts concert LP, the band are also saluting the studio-crafted sounds of 2007's New Wave. After being out of print for a number of years, the album has arrived in a new vinyl pressing.

The record had originally been issued through Sire Records, marking the band's first full-length outing for a major label, but the upcoming vinyl repress has been delivered through Asbestos Records. Since OG copies start around the $70 USD mark on resale sites like Discogs, the new edition's $20 price tag seems like an awesome deal.

Two variants are being delivered through Asbestos. Matching the colour palatte of the album cover, which you can see up above, one version lands on "black/yellow" wax. The record also lands in a limited-edition "Benefit Package" on red vinyl, with proceeds going to the Trans Lifeline, a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving the well-being of members of the transgendered community.

You can find out more about both versions of New Wave over here.

As for 23 Live Sex Acts, it lands September 4 via Against Me!'s own Total Treble Music.
