Florida-based punks Against Me! have done their fair share of label-hopping in recent months. First, they had a contentious split with Sire Records, and then they returned to Fat Wreck Chords for a demos collection. Now, the band have done the inevitable and formed their own label.
The imprint is called Total Treble Music, and it will be distributed in North America through RED/MRI. They're currently looking for other labels to help bring their distribution worldwide, and a press release promises that this "will be the home of all future Against Me! releases."
That's not entirely accurate, however. The outfit will drop a new seven-inch on June 14, and it won't be through their newly minted label. Containing the tracks "Russian Spies" and "Occult Enemies," it will come out via Sabot Productions in three different colours of vinyl: red at shows, yellow by mail order and blue through indie stores.
