Aerosol Constellations Head Out on Canadian Tour Behind 'Dark Side of the Sun'
Prolific Vancouver drone project Aerosol Constellations officially drop their next set, Dark Side of the Sun, tomorrow (April 18) through Isolated Now Waves/ Thankless Records, and the duo are celebrating the feat by announcing a batch of Canadian dates.

A press release confirms that the act play a hometown show this Friday (April 19) at Vancouver's Redgate, though the next month and a half will see them head up as far north as Dawson City, YK and out eastwards to Quebec before bouncing back to BC. You can see the details of the trip down below.

Formed seven years ago by Shearing Pinx drummer Jeremy Van Wyck and Stamina Mantis' Bill Batt, Aerosol Constellations have issued a number of cassette and cd-r releases that explore dark, ambient textures using "field recordings, samples and an array of electric and acoustic instruments." Despite the hefty back catalogue, Dark Side of the Sun will be their first proper full-length.

You can sample a three-minute excerpt of the LP's 16-minute "Dragging Me by Hair and Teeth" beneath the tour dates.
