Toronto singer Jessie Reyez took her latest single "Apple Juice" to the MTV Video Music Awards last night (August 20), and gained an unexpected new fan in the process.
After Reyez stole the spotlight during the show, Aerosmith and Post Malone closed out the evening with a ridiculous medly of "rockstar," "Dream On" and "Toys in the Attic." And as frontman Steven Tyler made his way through the aisles of celebrities, he stopped to pay a compliment to the Toronto star.
Reyez shared a clip of Tyler stopping to give her a hug and tell her, "You're great."
