When Adele's highly anticipated 25 album lands this Friday (November 20), we'll all likely spend the entire weekend weeping into each others' arms as we sing along to its heartbreaking lyrics. It turns out we won't be able to do so via streaming services, however, as the album will not be up for streaming.
According to the New York Times, reps for Adele have told streaming services that they won't be getting any of that sweet, melancholy pop music when 25 hits.
Instead, the album will arrive on CD and vinyl, as well as an old-school digital download. In other words, the anticipated sales numbers for this little disc are through the damn roof. The album might hit streaming services at a later date, though that's unclear at this point.
