Adam Stafford

"Please"

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 9, 2013

Glaswegian singer-songwriter Adam Stafford has fronted numerous bands, worked as a film director and currently heads up the Wiseblood Industries imprint. As if that weren't enough, he's gearing up to release his second solo album, Imaginary Walls Collapse, via Kingfisher Bluez and Song, By Toad this July.

The first song from the album is called "Please," and offers up a deceptively simple slab of alt-pop. Still, as the song plays out, it becomes clear that it's a vast composition, suggesting all sorts of possibility on the artist's upcoming record. Plus, on its own, it's full of harmonic falsettos and warm guitar work.
