Actress (a.k.a Darren J. Cunningham) delivered his AZD full-length earlier this year, but he isn't done with 2017 quite yet and has announced a new EP today.
Cunningham has revealed a collaborative EP with the London Contemporary Orchestra titled Audio Track 5. It will arrive September 1 through Ninja Tune, though you can hear the title track right now in the player below.
The EP stems from Cunningham's performances with the orchestra in February 2016, which took place at the Barbican Centre London. Cunningham approached the orchestra as "a new instrument, matching his electronic loops with precise manipulation of their acoustic instruments," creating "a heightened kind of chamber music."
