The mysterious and expansive Japanese psych ensemble known as Acid Mothers Temple had an extremely busy 2008, having released 12 records, many of which were full-lengths. Now, the band have decided that rather than lose momentum, they'll take their massive catalog on tour.
Kicking off April 3, the band will spend the month touring North America. And while some bands tour at a relaxed pace, taking time to change a tire or nurse a hangover between shows, AMT only have two days off in the entire month. This hectic scheduling includes Canadian stops in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. Joining them on tour will be Washington, DC's scarily named Sonic Suicide Squad, so, you know, expect to be scared.
