Upon initial release in 1996, No Bull was pretty much full of it. Hacked out hastily in order capitalize on the band’s popularity, circa Ballbreaker, this live concert from the Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas in Madrid, Spain was pretty shaky. Thankfully, it has been updated to the standards it should have met 12 years ago because despite its problems, the foundation was always strong: AC/DC’s performance was typically energetic and confident as they rumbled through their finest work, such as "Shot Down In Flames,” "Shoot To Thrill,” "Whole Lotta Rosie” and even a few numbers from then-latest release Ballbreaker. Reworking the raw material, director David Mallet has re-edited footage and updated the audio to 5.1 Surround, as well as fleshed out the package with extras such as "Angus-cam” footage during four songs, two tracks from performances in Sweden and Florida, and a complete discography. Now, No Bull is a crisp, engaging experience, as opposed to the rush-job it was originally.
