"VLT Girls (We Win Again)"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 30, 2015

AA Wallace recently signed with Culvert Music with promises to roll out music ahead of a fall full-length. True to his word, he has now shared the latest in a string of new material; it's a video for a tune called "VLT Girls (We Win Again)."

The song is a thumping synth-pop banger on which towering hooks are anchored by swaggering robo-bass. The accompanying video contrasts the sonic sense of fun by showing people sombrely standing amidst ramshackle objects. The mood of the visuals gradually picks up throughout the course of the clip, as a dude in a dilapidated room performs a slo-mo dance while bouncy balls fly around him, and someone turns on a bubble machine next to the muscular dude with the broken-down car.

The clip was directed by Scott Simpson. Check it out below.
