Toronto-based singer-songwriter AA Wallace recently revealed plans for his next LP In Alpha Zones, but before the record arrives in full, he's teasing fans with a new video.
"Shake It Out" is actually a song that resurfaced from Wallace's early solo days, but it's been reinterpreted to mesh with the forthcoming record's funk and synth-pop vibe. Perfectly bringing together groove and glam, the track has now been paired with some fresh visuals.
The clip starts off slightly less than glamorous, depicting everyday tasks like trips to the laundromat, grocery store, barber shop and bowling alley — though things take a turn in a more fun direction once the characters start to feel the beat and get their high heels tapping.
