Polaris Music Prize nominees A Tribe Called Red teamed up with the award's eventual winner Lido Pimienta for "The Light Part. II" on last year's We Are the Halluci Nation, and now that ATCR track has been given the video treatment.
Pimienta directed and stars in the new clip, which was shot on location in Santiago. It also features local Chilean artists, who Pimienta believes share her and the Halluci Nation's "way of life motivated by resistance and love."
"I set out to showcase how settler colonialism is in fact way more nuanced and complex by challenging these assumptions and preconceptions of how Indigenous people ought to be," she added in a statement.
