A Tribe Called Quest Set Release Date for Final Album, and It's Coming Sooner Than You Think

This summer A Tribe Called Quest promised they would return with one final album, and they are now making good on that.

The group's Q-Tip took to Facebook this evening (October 27) to reveal that Tribe will release their as-yet-untitled album on November 11 via Epic Records. Then the following night on November 12 will see the group guest on Saturday Night Live, sources tell Billboard.

While Q-Tip said "we will complete our Paths of Rhythm," not much has been revealed about the new album yet, though it will feature Busta Rhymes and Consequence. He also said the group started recording the record after Tribe's first televised performance in nearly two decades last November.

Of course, the full-length follows the passing of Phife Dawg, who died in March following a long battle with diabetes.

"No, this isn't filled with old Phife Bars.. This is that Pure, unstepped on Pure!!" Q-Tip wrote.

While we await more details on the new LP, you can see Q-Tip's handwritten note below.
