A Toronto Raccoon Stars in Bedouin Soundclash's "They Gutted This City" Video

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Aug 3, 2018

Raccoons have become something of an unofficial mascot for the city of Toronto, in large part due to the amount of wild stuff they get up to around here. Now, Bedouin Soundclash have turned their lens on the city's population of creatures for a new video.

In the Joel Regular-directed clip for "They Gutted This City," actor Rainbow Sun Francks plays a raccoon trying to survive and adapt in the big city.

Slogans such as "housing market soars as rent skyrockets" and "we're being squeezed out" flash across the screen as the raccoon rides the subway, walks along Queen Street and takes a trip to Kensington Market before heading to Warped Tour on the waterfront.

You can follow the adventure below.
