Nearly three years on from delivering their Transfixation LP, A Place to Bury Strangers have now shared details behind a follow-up LP.

Titled Pinned, the group's fifth full-length is set to arrive April 13 through Dead Oceans. It marks their first album since the closure of Brooklyn DIY space Death By Audio, where guitarist/vocalist Oliver Ackermann lived and worked.

The band have shared a first song from the record titled "Never Coming Back," which you can hear in the player below. The track features vocals from new drummer Lia Simone Braswell, who contributed vocals throughout the new album.

"As things go on, you don't want them to be stagnant," Ackermann said of Pinned in a statement. "Being a band for 10 years, it's hard to keep things moving forward. I see so many bands that have been around and they're a weaker version of what they used to be. This band is anti-that. We try to push ourselves constantly, with the live shows and the recordings. We always want to get better. You've got to dig deep and take chances, and sometimes, I questioned that. It took really breaking through to make it work. I think we did that."

In addition to announcing the new album, A Place to Bury Strangers have also mapped out a lengthy stretch of touring this spring after a run at SXSW in March. A lone Canadian date with bring them to Vancouver's Fox Cabaret on June 13.
