A$AP Rocky has been turning heads outside of the rap world this week. After popping up in the latest trailer for Zoolander 2, the rapper has now announced he's voicing superhero character Falcon in a new Avengers videogame.

Rocky confirmed through his Facebook page today (February 5) that he is voicing Sam "Falcon" Wilson in Marvel Avengers Academy, a mobile game that finds various Marvel comics characters "reimagined as students developing their superpowers."

Other entertainment figures attached to the game include John Cena (the Hulk), Alison Brie (Black Widow), Kiernan Shipka (Spider-Woman), and Dave Franco (Tony Stark/Iron Man). You can purchase the game here.

Keen-eyed comics fans may remember that this isn't the first time Rocky and Falcon have come into contact with one another. Last year, as part of Marvel's line of variant covers honouring classic hip-hop albums, the superhero was pictured in a similar pose to that of Rocky's Long.Live.A$AP LP.

In related news, another of Rocky's voiceover roles will be revealed later tonight via the premiere of HBO animated comedy Animals. As previously reported, both he and A$AP Ferg appear in the program, as well as indie rocker Kurt Vile.
