…And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead Announce 'Lost Songs' LP, Share New Track
Austin, TX noise rockers …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead revealed some fall tour plans yesterday, but this morning (August 22), it's been announced that the band will be returning with a new album titled Lost Songs.

The new record follows up 2011's Tao of the Dead and will arrive on October 23 through Richter Scale/Superball Music.

The band also just released new track "Up to Inifinty," which is apparently dedicated to Russian punks Pussy Riot, though it was based on other world events.

Frontman Conrad Keely explained (via Pitchfork): "The music was inspired by the apathy to real world events that has plagued the independent music scene now for over a decade. "Up to Infinity" is about the Syrian civil war. We believe that tyranny and despotism suffered by any people, anywhere, is intolerable and should not be treated as an internal matter, but completely justifies intervention by the international community."
