In the golden age of thrifting and vintage shopping, it's not uncommon for people to sport clothes that they know nothing about. Although 50 Cent probably doesn't do much thrifting, he was in the same boat as those of us who do when a woman asked him about his Drake shirt at the gym.
The New York rapper took to Twitter late last night to share the experience, admitting that he reacted incredulously at first, before realizing that he was in the wrong.
"I'm in the gym working out and this girl says, 'you like Michael Jackson?'" he wrote. "I said, 'This a Drake shirt fool,' then I googled and this popped up ... I had to apologize!"

50 has been working out on the road as he closes out his Final Lap Tour with recent shows in Western Canada. Since he most recently took the stage in Winnipeg prior to the tweet, the interaction might even have taken place there.
Regardless, not too many people would have the stomach to publicly approach someone as big (in more ways than one) as 50 in public, let alone at the gym. Clearly, the unidentified exerciser has more guts than most — not only did she test his music knowledge, but she actually got one over on him as well.
Hopefully, 50 Cent has better luck in Toronto's gyms as he prepares to visit Drake's hometown on September 22 for the final North American stop on his tour.
