3 Inches of Blood Announce Memorial Show for Fallen Bassist

After a scooter accident late last month, Washington-area bassist Brian Redman tragically passed away at 31. Naturally, this came as a shock to his former band-mates in Trial and 3 Inches of Blood, who both released statements concerning Redman's passing.

While he was based in Tacoma, WA, Redman's two-year stint in 3IOB meant that he had made a number of friends in Canada, and now the Vancouver metal group have announced they'll be remembering Redman with a tribute show in Tacoma.

In a statement, 3IOB said, "We are happy to be paying tribute to our lost friend and former band-mate, Brian Redman. This show is about honouring Brian's memory and celebrating his life. We want everyone to enjoy this show, have fun and remember the good we all had with Brian because he always knew how to have a good time and we're confident that he would have wanted it that way."

The show is taking place at Tacoma staple Hell's Kitchen on November 7. If you're thinking of making the trek down, you may want to grab your tickets in advance here.

A memorial service for Redman took place earlier this month, part of which can be seen here:
