2 Chainz Sets Release Date for New Album 'So Help Me God'

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Aug 17, 2020

After a bunch of teasing, 2 Chainz has finally set the official release date for his new album So Help Me God.

Taking to his socials, the rapper revealed we can expect the record to arrive on September 25 via Def Jam. Beyond that date, though, 2 Chainz hasn't given us much more to go on.

However, a press release does promise that we will get a video for "Money Maker" — his recent team-up with Lil Wayne. So we assume the track will appear on So Help Me God.

2 Chainz released his Rap or Go to the League album last year. That album featured the likes of Ariana Grande, Chance the Rapper, E-40, Kendrick Lamar, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla Sign and Young Thug, among others. But so far, it's unclear what kind of guests we may get on So Help Me God.

For now, check out the announcement below.
