2 Chainz quietly had himself quite the 2016 in dropping his Daniel Son: Necklace Don and Hibachi for Lunch mixtapes, and in keeping his momentum going, he's shared new cut called "It's a Vibe."
UPDATE (03/09, 1:13 p.m. EST): As Chainz has tweeted, "It's a Vibe" surfaced today as the result of a leak. "Bout to regroup," he tweeted. "2 new records dropping tonite since somebody wanna be a #vibekiller leakin my shit."
UPDATE (3/9, 12 a.m. EST): You can now properly hear "It's a Vibe" below, as well as another new track from 2 Chainz called "Smartphone."
For Chainz, the new track is decidedly R&B-flavoured, with Murda Beatz crafting some sultry sonics complete with gentle guitar and piano. Of course, the Atlanta MC has also brought out a trio of R&B staples in Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz and Jhené Aiko to help him out.
"It's a Vibe" could be a part of 2 Chainz's upcoming release Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which is expected to arrive in April. In the meantime, hear the track in the player below.
