André Ethier, former frontman of the Deadly Snakes, has announced plans for a new album this fall. The nine-track record titled Croak in the Weeds is set to arrive October 11 via Telephone Explosion Records.

Along with the album announcement comes a brand new track and accompanying music video. Watch the canine-focused video for "Dream on Pigs" down below. Beware: extremely cute content lies ahead.

"I was imagining a pond at the swamp," Ethier said about the new album in a press release. "A pond gets murkier the deeper you dive. Frogs are amphibians. They're in and out of the pond like it's no big deal, but we stay mostly on the shore and only peer in. Then, when the weather is right, the pond rises in a mist and we can breathe it too. We can be in the pond but also on the shore."

Croak in the Weeds comes as a collaboration with musician/producer Sandro Perri. The pair went to work on the album in his Toronto studio this past winter.

Last year, Ethier appeared as a guest vocalist on Perri's In Another Life. They had previously also worked on Ethier's 2017 album Under the Grapeleaves
