With fans having binged their way through the third season of Stranger Things in a matter of days, it seems they've spent their time since the last episode digging up old content to fill the void in their hearts and Netflix queue. Thankfully, it's paying off for all of us, as one viewer with a keen eye has discovered that Steve Harrington and Dustin Henderson look remarkably similar to a young David Harbour and Patton Oswalt.
As Twitter user @JustARealDummy has pointed out, Harbour (who plays Hopper on Stranger Things) had remarkably Steve-like hair as a young man. He also noted that a young Oswalt (who unfortunately has not appeared on Stranger Things) bears a striking resemblance to Steve's younger sidekick Dustin.
In his own words, Harbour and Oswalt's "friendship makes so much sense when you realize they are grown up Steve & Dustin."
Oswalt himself even broke his Twitter hiatus to share the photos, tagging Harbour in his retweet.
