Young Boy Destroys $20,000 'Zootopia' Sculpture at LEGO Expo

A Chinese LEGO artist named Mr. Zhao toiled for three days and nights to create a giant sculpture of the Zootopia character Nick for the LEGO Expo in Ningbo, China. Within an hour of the exhibit's opening, however, his dreams were quite literally shattered when a young boy pushed the sculpture over.

Before it was reduced to a pile of rubble on the ground, the statue was valued at 100,000 yuan ($20,000 CAD).

The culprit who destroyed the sculpture was thought to be four or five years old. His parents offered to compensate Zhao for the disaster, but he insisted that their apology was enough. "The child did not intend to break it," he told CCTV News

Below, you can find images of Zhao posing with his impressive Nick sculpture before it was reduced to rubble. Thanks to Mashable for the tip.
