Wu-Tang Clan are about to be the subject of the new Showtime documentary series Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, and to go along with it, the hip-hop legends are giving it a soundtrack — complete with new material.
The show premieres on Friday (May 17), which is the same day Wu-Tang will release its seven-track soundtrack via Mass Appeal Records/36 Chambers. Right now, though, you can hear the newly shared song "On That Sht Again" from Ghostface Killah and RZA.
As previously reported, Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men was directed by Sacha Jenkins, who executive produced the Netflix series Rapture.
"Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men is the definitive docuseries that explores and reveals our careers spanning over 25 years," RZA said in a statement. "The accompanying soundtrack is a great dose of some of those Men back on those Mics again."
Down below, you can hear "On That Sht Again" from the OST, which was executive produced by Mitchell Diggs and Mustafa Shaikh. Besides new tracks, the soundtrack includes a series of skits that contain Wu-Tang stories that never made the final cut of the TV series, including one from Nas.
