We Can't Stop Watching These Awkward News Broadcasts from Regular People
Let's be honest with ourselves. While the evening news is an undoubtedly important part of culture, it gets a little dry after a while. That's why we can't stop giggling at these videos of normal people reading the news.

The Washington, DC museum with the punny title Newseum has a special greenscreen exhibit that allows visitors to read a teleprompter in front of a green screen, just like a regular newscaster.  While it's a rather innocuous little exhibit, comedy writer Sage Boggs has pointed out that the videos are actually posted online.
 
 
Boggs went on to tweet a bunch of his favourite awkward news clips, and the results are incredible. There are adorable children, giggly women, bored-seeming dads and a group of teens who break into the shmoney dance. There's also a very weird old man named Jo who pops up more than once.
