Watch the Spike Lee-Directed Video for Prince's "Mary Don't You Weep"

The archival track appeared in Lee's new film 'BlacKkKlansman'

On the heels of including archival Prince song "Mary Don't You Weep" in his BlacKkKlansman film, Spike Lee has now unveiled a music video for the tracl.

The video for "Mary Don't You Weep" is built out of clips from the film itself, and you can watch it in the player below.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Lee said of the song, "Prince wanted me to have that song, I don't care what nobody says. My brother Prince wanted me to have that song. For this film. There's no other explanation to me."

"Mary Don't You Weep" is also set to appear on the forthcoming live album Piano & a Microphone: 1983, which will arrive September 21 via Warner Bros.
