Bill & Ted Face the Music has been delayed again — but possibly for the last time. The film, now scheduled to arrive on September 1, is set to hit both VOD and theatres simultaneously. But now, we have a brand new trailer to celebrate.

As previously reported, our heroes — played by Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter —are joined by Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine, who will play the titular characters' daughters. Kid Cudi appears in the film as well.

In the new trailer, we get an even more in-depth look at the comedy sci-fi duo's family lives, as they're sent to couples counselling with their wives, work their dead-end jobs, go to literal hell and try to work through adult life the only way they know how.

Here's the official synopsis:

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-travelling exploits of William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.
