A long, long time ago in a pop culture galaxy far, far away, we weren't completely drowning in Star Wars content. In fact, the promise of another Star Wars TV show may have even been exciting, particularly since George Lucas was directly involved. We can now relive those glory days with some leaked footage from his long-lost Star Wars series.
In 2005, Lucas announced he was working on a series called Star Wars: Underworld. The show was intended to be set in the timespan between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Today, some test footage from the series has leaked online. While it would certainly be improved with the inclusion of Baby Yoda, that's really true of every TV show. In fact, Underworld looks pretty damn good.
At the time, Lucas explained that the show was simply too expensive to be made. So instead, we'll just have to live with this test footage.
