The long-promised Spy Kids reboot is finally upon us. Netflix has gifted younger millennials with the franchise's fifth film, Spy Kids: Armageddon, and it's hitting the streamer on September 22.
This iteration of kids saving their spy parents stars Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi, and creator Robert Rodriguez has returned for the project. He directed the new movie and co-wrote it with his son, Racer.
"When the children of the world's greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world," the movie's official description reads.
