John Stamos — best known for his role as Uncle Jesse on Full House and Fuller House — has addressed his co-star Lori Loughlin's recent involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Stamos said he hadn't been involved in any discussions about Loughlin with people at the show, adding he would "see what's going on" when the actor heads back to the show later this week and speak in more detail when he knows more.

"It's a difficult situation for everyone involved," Stamos said. "I don't mean just on our side."

Back in April, Loughlin pleaded not guilty to charges of mail fraud and money laundering conspiracy.

Following news of the college admissions scandal, the Hallmark Channel severed ties with Loughlin. Netflix's Fuller House made no official announcements, though it was widely reported that Loughlin would not return to the series. She was not billed as a series regular in the recent reboot.

Stamos, who is a producer on the next season of Fuller House, also revealed that the upcoming final season of the show will be split into two nine-episode parts. It has yet to be given a premiere date.
