Not to sound like a bunch of conspiracy theorists, but we're almost positive that Skynet is real and currently plotting the demise of humanity. After all, scientists have just uncovered a way to make their own T-1000 from the Terminator franchise.
Specifically, the Independent reports that scientists at Australia's RMIT University discovered a new form of malleable liquid metal.
Professor Kourosh Kalantar-zadeh said, "Using this discovery, we were able to create moving objects, switches and pumps that could operate autonomously – self-propelling liquid metals driven by the composition of the surrounding fluid."
Further, the professor added, "Eventually, using the fundamentals of this discovery, it may be possible to build a 3D liquid metal humanoid on demand – like the T-1000 Terminator."
In other words, we're all going to die.
