Earlier this week, Trailer Park Boys fans were depressed to learn that John Dunsworth, the actor that played Jim Lahey, passed away at the age of 71. It's hard to imagine the show without Mr. Lahey, but that's most likely the reality.
According to TMZ, producers of the show revealed they will not be recasting the character, suggesting it would cheapen the franchise to replace him. Dunsworth had been on the show since its debut in 2001.
That said, fans will still get a little more Lahey with Season 12 of the show, which is set to appear on Netflix in 2018.
