Toronto After Dark Film Fest Announces First 10 Movies

Next month, Toronto's Scotiabank Theatre will host the 2015 edition of the Toronto After Dark film festival. Today, organizers have unveiled the first 10 films playing the festival.

The festival, which runs October 15 to 23, specializes in sci-fi, horror and cult films. All of the films programmed will be a premiere of sorts, whether it's an international, national or Toronto premiere.

The lineup includes the New Zealand horror film Deathgasm, the American short film anthology Tales of Halloween, the American sci-fi comedy Lazer Team, the UK horror comedy Nina Forever, the holiday-themed Canadian horror flick A Christmas Horror Story, the Japanese horror-action-thriller Tag, the Japanese monster movie Love & Peace, the Canadian thriller The Demolisher, the American sci-fi thriller Synchronicity and the Frankenstein-themed horror comedy Patchwork.
